Employer Sponsored Visas
There are four types of Employer Sponsored Visas
Subclass 482 – Skills in Demand Visa
This provisional visa is meant to address the immediate skills shortage in Australia. Your occupation must be on the list of occupations and you may need skills assessment. You need to have English language ability and the income offered must be minimum equal to TSMIT.
Subclass 494 – Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional Visa
This provisional visa permits you to come and live in regional Australia for up to 5 years an you qualify for permanent residency after 3 years. You need to have relevant skills, qualifications and work experience and also a positive skills assessment. You also need to meet the English Language and the health and character requirements.
Subclass 407 – Training Visa
This Provisional Visa is meant for trainees who would like to come and enhance their skills in Australia. There are three broad categories – occupational training for registration, occupational training to improve skills in an eligible occupation and occupation training for capacity building overseas. To be able to get this visa granted, beside other things you need to be a genuine temporary entrant and must meet the English language requirements.
Subclass 186 – Employer Nomination Scheme Visa
This Permanent Residency Visa has three streams. The first one is Direct Entry (DE), the second is Temporary Residency Transition (TRTS) and the third the Labour Agreement (LA) stream. Each stream has its own requirements . For the DE stream you need to have a skills assessment, Competent English and 3 years of relavant work experience and be under 45 years of age.
